WCPE Episode 141 – A Discussion with Matt Kindt

wcpelgbtJohn gives Jerry (recovering nicely) and Cullen the week off as he sits down to talk with superstar creator Matt Kindt.

Matt has been a subject on the show a number of times and rightfully so. His book Mind MGMT was one of the best things we have ever read and we discuss the new 2-Volume Creator Curated Edition available from OmahaBound. Head here to find out more about this gorgeous book.

Matt is following Mind MGMT up with another book from Dark Horse – Dept. H. While Matt wrote and did all the art for Mind MGMT, he is joined on Dept. H by his wife Sharlene who is doing the color art in breathtaking watercolors. We discussed both of these books as well as three books he has been writing for Valiant Comics, namely Ninjak, Divinity III, and the upcoming X-O Manowar. I’ve been reading all of these titles and they are outstanding.

While you listen to the show, be sure to check out Matt’s website and see what you can pick up there.
