WCPE Episode 139 – Wintertime Blues

savage4What makes for a good comic book podcast? A little bit of this, a little bit of that, and a hope that it all comes together into a somewhat cohesive narrative.

Let’s start with talk about a new comic book release, such as Savage #4 from Valiant Entertainment. Throw in some other recent reads, such as Dept. H Volume 1. Don’t forget to mention the LEGO Batman Movie, which lives up to all expectations!

Add some general nerd talk about lame members of the Avengers or the Justice League of America, and we have the beginnings of a great show. Now we can’t guarantee this is a great show, but it is the best #139 episode we have ever recorded.

For the record, none of us are at peak podcasting form on today’s show. We all have some time of bug or virus impacting each of us. So you might be better off saving this for later. Like an after-hours listen, after the kids have gone to bed, because we do sound that good. You know what we’re talking about!

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you’ve been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.
