WCPE Episode 131 – Rogue One Movie Review

rogue1posterWCPE is one with the Force, and the Force is with WCPE!

Welcome to our review of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the prequel of sorts to the original Star Wars movie. Cullen, Jerry, and John all made it to the theaters last weekend to see the latest entry into the Star Wars franchise, and we as a collective LOVED IT! We get into the discussion of the movie, the cast, the characters and what we would like to see come out from Marvel now that the movie is finished.

Before we get into the movie talk, John and Jerry recount their afternoon spent at Clint’s Comics on Wednesday. We got a chance to hang out with owner Jim Cavanaugh and his crew for a few hours, talking comics and life. We met a lot of new friends, as well as ran into some familiar faces. As always, the things we do with this podcast (appearances at cons, giveaways, and more) would not be possible without the support of Clint’s Comics.

We would love to hear your comments on the show. Let us know what you’ve been reading or watching this week. Contact us on our website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by email. We want to hear from you! As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show.

The Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! is proudly sponsored by Clint’s Comics. Clint’s is located at 3941 Main in Kansas City, Missouri, and is open Monday through Saturday. Whether it is new comics, trade paperbacks, action figures, statues, posters, or T-shirts, owner Jim Cavanaugh and his friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you find whatever it is that you need. You should also know that Clint’s has the most extensive collection of back issues in the metro area. If you need to find a particular book to finish the run of a title, head on down to Clint’s or check out their website at clintscomics.com. Tell them that the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! sent you.

  1. 100% with you on the “this will be part of the Lego video game spin-off” aspect of the switch. I felt the same during parts of the third Hobbit movie…and then the Lego adaptation of that last movie was cancelled. #awkward
