It’s an incredible week to be a fan of comic books! In the last seven days, we have seen the return of The Flash and Arrow and the debut of Luke Cage, New Comic Book Day this week could have easily been described as Christmas Morning Part II, and the New York Comic Con has started with all kinds of announcements.
But before we can get into all of that, we have a guest in studio with us this week. Hayley Nitz is back to promote her new Kickstarter for Chasing Hitler. We spoke to Hayley back in Episode 083 with her first Kickstarter for issue #1. Now, there is a new campaign to fund issues #2 to #4. We get the full details on where the book is going, the publisher who will be distributing the book, and more. And yes, John has a question for the ages….
Afterward, we discuss Doom Patrol #1 from the Young Animal imprint at Vertigo, as well as the first issue of Black from the highly-successful Kickstarter. Jerry and John give a recap of the Free State Comicon – who we saw and what we got! We wrap things up with another round of Cullen’s Name Game.
As always, we are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER! and we hope you enjoy the show. Hey, I’ve never seen the sun come up in the West!
