Got a Twitter account? If so, you are our new best friend, and we need your help! See, our co-host John is entering a contest to serve as a correspondent for DC Comics All Access at the San Diego Comic Con this summer. John has put together a video explaining why he should help represent DC. Part of the judging involves the number of retweets a submission gets. So we are asking each and every one of you to go out to John’s Twitter account (@comicconjohn), find his submission video tweet, and retweet that left and right with the hashtag, #dcaagiveaway. While you’re at it, get your other friends or your co-workers or even your mom to retweet John’s submission. We’ve seen some of the other submissions, and we know John is easily the most qualified for this job. But at the end of the day, it’s still a popularity contest. We need to get the WCPE-community behind John.
Also on this podcast, we discuss Star Wars #4, our book of the of year. Now, full warnings here, we are going to spoil the reveal at the end of this issue. And it’s a big reveal. HUGE reveal. This may be our favorite single comic page of the year. So go out, read Star Wars #4, and then come hear our review.
John hosts another round of Fan Favorite Feud, this time between Hillary and Jerry. Can you name the favorite Batman villains, or the favorite members of the Avengers?
Speaking of the Avengers, we once again discuss our plans to see Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Everyone is welcome to join us. You are also welcome to join us for Free Comic Book Day. Look for Hillary at Elite Comics, dressed as the Scarlet Witch, and look for Cullen, Jerry and John at Clint’s Comics, dressed as podcasters.
We also discuss Eisner nominations, DC Comics Girl Hero initiative, the outing of an X-Man, and more. We are the Worst. Comic. Podcast. EVER!, and we hope you enjoy the show.
